Proclaimers Liverpool Philharmonic Hall
Proclaimers once again do not fail to deliver.
The Philharmonic is an all seated hall affair which was a little strange the acoustics are amazing and even though new and old songs were sung you could clearly hear all the lyrics, brilliant band, we were sat right at the back and didn’t miss a beat.
When a member of the audience stood to celebrate a song the ushers would calmly go over and ask them to sit, which they duly did. But when the Proclaimers broke into 500 miles there was no sitting down and no usher had any possibility of sitting anyone down.
The evening was odd as everyone was bouncing up and down in their seats clapping and signing, which made the experience quite surreal but that does not take anything away from the Proclaimers they were and are still an iconic band lyrics are so electric and meaningful, fab evening had by all.
