Last night i dragged my husband along to the Liverpool 02 Academy to see Emeli Sande I bought her album and was smitten from the start what an amazing voice and a very talented young lady writing all her songs as well as writing for some other famous people.

We got to the 02 academy and were not surprised that the venue was similar to the places we had been to in Leeds Brighton & Glasgow so we knew we were in for an up close experience, this we had experienced before when watching Coldplay when they first surfaced which was brilliant, years on we have seen Coldplay at larger events and soon got tired of being pushed around not being able to see and having beer or some other substance thrown over us.

The support started with Josh Osho I had looked him up on the internet before hand and loved his single Redemption Days and saw that he is due to release a single in May ft Childish Gambino called Giant’s, my son Alex introduced me to Childish Gambino album CAMP which is fab and a brilliant listen at the gym I can totally loose myself so I have high hopes for Josh Osho in the future, even my husband enjoyed his set which is an amazing as he is not usually open to new music especially not my kind of new music.

Daley was white but had a very soulful voice if you closed your eyes you could have been easily deceived visually his unique style was refreshing and his hair is fabulous.

Emeli Sande did not disappoint the young lady from Aberdeen explained what each songs inspiration was and sang beautifully throughout taking to the keyboard for a couple of numbers the girl can play write and sing, her band were excellent along with two backing singers they whole ensemble came together and gave a sometimes heart stopping performance.

These new young talents are hopefully the future and we can start paying full attention to those with real natural pure talent for singing song writing and instrument playing.
